About Me

Gagnon
I was diagnosed with insulin-dependent type 1 diabetes in December 2000, before being diagnosed with MODY-3 diabetes thirteen years later. Overnight, I found myself stung and injected with insulin for the rest of my life... until I became interested in the natural methods of treating diabetes.

I had eight years of insulin therapy that saw me suffering, crying, laughing, experiencing incredible ups and downs, and finally led me to face death twice, following miscalculations. of medication. That's it, it was too much: I became less confident about drugs than sugar, and I started to take an interest in the natural methods of treating diabetes .

Vegetalism, untransformed diet, physical exercise, medicinal plants and beautiful emotions made me discover a new life. During the month of November 2008, I stopped taking insulin and all medication, and started experimenting with a new way to control my sugar levels. For more than 6 years, I have made health discoveries and learnings that have dazzled me by their simplicity and efficiency.. In January 2015, pregnant, I started injecting myself with insulin again to meet the requirements (glycated hemoglobin below 6%) for a healthy pregnancy. Since then, I continue to take it as needed. It makes me as happy as having stopped! I can only seek to help those who wish to walk a similar path. For more details, I invite you to read the articles that deal with my career:

This website is the result of my research and my desire to live in a healthy society. Here you will find, over the months, what it takes to reduce or cut drugs ( scientific studies to support ), to live a life worthy of your desires, your values and a happy planet, as well as many links and relevant information on various topics.

My struggle and my appreciation of diabetes led me to think and inform myself about several related topics. I think today everything is connected and no problem is really isolated. That's why I happily embrace diabetes management, love of the planet, ethics, societies, global warming, end of oil, active transportation, alternative economic system, resilience, gardening, sharing and cooking in the same website. I call each person to take responsibility and take charge of their health and their lives, while recognizing the environmental, political and social consequences of their actions.

Looking forward to seeing you happy and happy :)

I would like to thank with all my heart, and I weigh my words, Clément Courte, my wonderful spouse, for all the time and talent he has put in this website. If I take care of the content, he did the rest. Day and night for several weeks, at the end of the session, he solved one by one all the problems that the programming of the site posed and he discovered and learned all that was necessary to exceed my expectations as to the presentation of the site .

Thanks to infinity, and for everything!
